PRESS PREVIEW DAY
Press Preview Day will take place the day prior to the show opening to the public, on November 27, 2007. Press conferences have been scheduled for Saab, Nissan, Suzuki, Kia, Infiniti, Toyota, Ford, Lexus, Chrysler, Merceds-Benz, and Mazda. A full schedule may be downloaded below.
The Auto Show also hosts a luncheon for the media during Press Day. Besides a keynote speaker address discussing the state of the industry, the luncheon also serves as an awards ceremony to recognize automotive achievement in New England. The Charles E. Dole "High Road" Award is bestowed by the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) to a member of the automotive press corps or automotive public relations person whose career exemplifies the consistent spirit of honest enterprise, collegiality, helpfulness, integrity and good will. The Massachusetts nominee for the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award is also recognized.
Other awards presented at the luncheon include Family Vehicle of the Year and Ragtop Ramble Awards for best convertibles in entry, mid and premium classes.
More than 100 automotive journalists and factory representatives will be in attendance at this year's upcoming Press Day.
