The Demonstration Stage at the Golf Expo attracts instructors from around the US!
LPGA Teaching Professional, Karen Palacios-Jansen has been voted one of America's "Top 50 Instructors" by Golf for Women Magazine since 1997. Karen has a weekly golf instructional blog on www.worldgolf.com and an instructional column on www.travelgolf.com. A certified personal trainer, Karen has developed a golf specific fitness system called Cardiogolf available on DVD. Karen has been teaching for more than 17 years, and is a former David Leadbetter trained instructor and Jim McLean master instructor. She is a regular contributing writer to Golf For Women and Golf Tips Magazines and is regularly seen on The Golf Channel. She was recently named managing editor for Golf Fitness Magazine. Karen, who has her own golf events company, Swing Blade Enterprises in North Carolina, was also named by Golf Week magazine as one of the "Top 40 Business Leaders in the Golf Industry Under the Age of 40".
Also speaking at this year's show is Frank Thomas from Frankly Golf. Frank has dedicated 26 years of his life to preserving the challenge of the game in his role as Technical Director of the US Golf Association, as well as directed the development of today's Golf Handicap and Information Network. He even invented the graphite golf shaft.
World Long Drive competitor, Eric Lastowka returns to the National Golf Expo this year. Runner up in the 2006 World Long Drive Championship, Eric will amaze you from tee to green with 350 yard drives, 280 yard 6 irons and 200 yard putts, plus show you how his fellow Long Drive Competitors play "Closest to the Pin".
