The Demonstration Stage at the Golf Expo attracted instructors from around the US, most of which regularly appear on the Golf Channel.
LPGA Teaching Professional, Karen Palacios-Jansen has been voted one of America's "Top 50 Instructors" by Golf for Women Magazine since 1997. Karen has a weekly golf instructional blog on www.worldgolf.com and an instructional column on www.travelgolf.com. A certified personal trainer, Karen has developed a golf specific fitness system called Cardiogolf available on DVD. Karen, has been teaching for more than 17 years, is a former David Leadbetter trained instructor and Jim McLean master instructor, is a regular contributing writer to Golf For Women and Golf Tips Magazines and who is regularly seen on The Golf Channel, was recently named managing editor for Golf Fitness Magazine. Karen, who has her own golf events company, Swing Blade Enterprises in North Carolina was also named by Golf Week magazine as one of the "Top 40 Business Leaders in the Golf Industry Under the Age of 40".
Power with Finesse
World Long Drive competitor, Eric Lastowka returned to the Boston Golf Expo this year. Runner up in the 2006 Wold Long Drive Championship, Eric amazed attendees from tee to green with 350 yard drives, 280 yard 6 irons and 200 yard putts, plus showed you how his fellow Long Drive Competitors play "Closest to the Pin". Eric demonstrated how to generate more power in your swing along with how important flexibility is to the golf swing.
