In an effort to raise awareness about the importance of booster seats and increase usage, Mitsubishi Motors and Kids Safety First, a national non-profit organization, continued its National Booster Seat Awareness Initiative at the Denver Auto Show! Certified Car Seat Technicians from the Southwest Adams Fire Department and the Colorado State Patrol were on hand to conduct booster seat installation demonstrations. By participating in a free demonstration, parents with children between the ages of 4 and 8 who are less than 4'9" tall had an opportunity to receive a certificate for a free booster seat redeemable at five Denver-area Mitsubishi car dealerships!
ACTIVITIES
The Chrysler Mobile Showcase featured a host of interactive displays which included some very cool Wii video games, a chance to illustrate your vehicle with the color and wheels of your choice, and the opportunity to have your picture taken and placed on the front of a major magazine cover. Plus test drives in the 2008 Chrysler 300, Aspen, Town and Country, Sebring or Sebring Convertible and gifts compliments of Chrysler.
Toyota had the Hybrid Synergy Drive Game Show! This fast paced, informative competition taught participants about how this endeavor is producing environmentally responsible vehicles. The display was even environmentally friendly, made from plywood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, 100% recyclable aluminum frames made from 52% recycled content and fiberboard that is made from 100% recycled wood content.
Attendees simulated driving a big rig with the help of professional truck drivers at the American Trucking Association's Share the Road display, dedicated to reducing the accident and fatality rates on America's roadways.
