Events & Attractions

While the cars are the stars of the Connecticut International Auto Show in Hartford, there's a full range of activities to make it a fun outing for the whole family. The Connecticut International Auto Show is a place where auto enthusiasts, potential buyers, and people who are looking for a fun day out can come together.  Whether you've come to shop for a vehicle, to share your passion for cars with others, or just to have some fun with your family and friends, the Connecticut International Auto Show is more than a showroom of new model year vehicles -- it's an event!

The 2011 Connecticut International Auto Show has come to a close.  While we count the days until the 2012 Show, take a look at what the 2011 event had to offer!

Activities

Sean Casey and the Tornado Intercept Vehicle will be at the Show from 12-4pm on Saturday, November 12th!  Don't miss your chance to learn all about this incredible vehicle and Sean's adventures!  The Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association will also be making a contribution to the Massachusetts and Connecticut Red Cross chapters to benefit victims of the Springfield area tornado and Hurricane Irene.

Hang out with Comic Bot, the eight-foot tall robot!  You saw him on America's Got Talent, and now you can meet him in person!  He will be performing Friday at 3:00pm, Saturday at 12:00pm, 3:00pm and 6:00pm, and Sunday at 1:00pm.

The U.S. Air Force will be celebrating Veteran's Day at the Show!  Come see their tricked-out Chevy Tahoe, complete with LCD screens and video game consoles!

WMRQ will be broadcasting live from the Auto Show floor on Friday, November 11th from 4-8pm!  On Saturday, November 12, WCCC will be at the Show from 12-2pm, and WAQY will be there from 2-4pm!

Kids Stop

Kids can race like champions at the Game Center, featuring electronic family games!

The fun doesn't have to begin and end with the Show!  Kids can race with Disney/Pixar's Cars right here!

Showcases

The Connecticut International Auto Show features showcases of specialty vehicles and products highlighting the glamour of the auto industry. Check out vintage cars from the 1900s (Ford), 1920s (Rolls Royce), and 1930s (Auburn Speedster), courtesy of the Klingberg Foundation.  The Show is also the perfect place to shop for auto accessories for the auto enthusiasts on your holiday list!

After FX Customs will be back, showcasing more exotic custom cars!  Check out their Mercedes Black Series (one of only 350 worldwide), and Audi R8!
